More of Paris

January 13

This morning we started off the day pretty well- a trip up the Eiffel Tower to see all of France. I am not a fan of heights, so I may or may not have held hands with Stephanie on the elevator. It was a stretch for me. But once I was up on sturdy ground I did alright. The view was absolutely amazing and it was so cool to be IN the Eiffel Tower! We had a couple hours to be up in the tower and take pictures. Afterward we had some free time to roam the city. We went and took pictures of the Arc de Triumph and then got a little shopping in. I got a cool purse- when I come home people will probably be like, "wow, Jess, that's a really cool purse!" and I'll be like "yea, I got it in Paris. No big deal." ;) We took the subway back to the hotel where we met up with the whole group and boarded a boat to take through Paris. By this time it was 7:30p and dark out so it was really neat to see "the city of lights." However, I didn't get too many good pictures, but it was still a cool view of everything. The night was ours so a chunk of us went to a restaurant to enjoy some wine in Paris. Obviously. We also got some McDonald's- it took over 15 minutes to order and get a small fry.... I have nothing to complain about in America!

Also, great news! My friend Mike fixed my computer so now I can upload pictures every time I have the internet! :)
